The New York Film Academy’s Rising Artist Scholarship was created to recognize outstanding students who dream of pursuing film, media, or performing arts in college – and we’re hitting the road to find them.
Just like sports recruitment, we scout talent directly at schools worldwide. The team is led by Joey Zangardi, NYFA’s Director of Domestic Recruitment, whose casting credits include MTV, FOX, Nickelodeon, NBC, and an agent in NYC.
Our goal: Award Rising Artist Scholarships to passionate students ready to take the next step toward their future in the arts.
This program is designed for educators, program directors, and school faculty who would like to nominate their students and their creative work for scholarship consideration.
